French Food Camp Late Summer Feast, September 17, 2016


This Food Camp will focus on late summer foods, notably tomatoes but including our best local produce.  We will have a discussion of tomatoes and sample three variations of Italian tomato sauces with fresh pasta before we move on to our main course and an extensive dessert table that will include some beautiful lemon, chocolate and lavender-based desserts.

The afternoon is loosely structured, and you can join in the kitchen activity as you choose, or enjoy conversation and ongoing foods on the terrace.  Recipes for all foods will be provided.

This will also be an occasion to catch up on the changes at our home...including the new flock of chicks!
